Pojďme se teď společně ponořit do druhé části vyprávění paní Evy.

Když k nám Zuzík přišel, byl maličký, sotva stál na svých štíhlých nožkách. Měl nádherné puntíky na hřbetě a ty nejkrásnější oči na světě. Ten musí přežít!!!

Když jsem si ho prohlédla blíže, bylo jasné, že je v dosti špatném stavu. Zavolala jsem tedy veterinářce, aby se na něj přijela podívat. Moc se jí asi nechtělo. Odbyla mě, že je pátek odpoledne a přestože jsem ji prosila o pomoc, odmítla. Prý o tom nic neví…

Bylo mi to moc líto a měla jsem o srnečka strach. Jak to, že musím se svým pedagogickým vzděláním rozumět péči o malé srnečky? Nejsem veterinář, přesto jsem si musela poradit sama. Co mu rychle dát? Hroznový cukr do heřmánkového odvaru.

To byla první pomoc, než se nám podařilo sehnat kozí mléko. Jenže tu byl další problém. Srnec nechtěl vůbec pít. Lahvičku jsme tedy zavrhli a na řadu přišla nimravá práce: kapali jsme mu mléko injekční stříkačkou přímo do hubičky.
